The meaning of life
We do not know what God’s compelling purpose is, but whatever happens, we must maintain our relationship with Him. We must never allow anything to damage our relationship with God, but if something does damage it, we must take the time to make it right again. The most important aspect of Christianity is not the work we do, but the relationship we maintain and the surrounding influence and qualities produced by that relationship. That is all God asks us to give our attention to, and it is the one thing that is continually under attack.

amen brother! nothing should get in the way, not money, career, fame, friends, family, feelings, emotions, relationships, or personal fun/pleasure.
the message is so simple, yet satan places so many obstacles and deceptions in our path.
so many people are deceived by their own "spiritual actions" that they consider their faith to be "fine". church, fellowship, leadership, worship, or relationships all can artificially inflate one's evaluation of their spiritual health.
"you believe in one God. Good! but even demons believe that and shudder."
"do not merely listen to the word, but do what it says!"

But then there are the times when God just doesn't give a damn and ends up he's not there at all.
Damn! Now how are we supposed to maintain that kind of a relationship when that happens.
