airplanes airplanes everywhere

airplanes, such facinating machinery. i was just reading up on the airbus 380 that will be released in the next little while. it's got the same length of a boeing 747, but much wider. double decker airplane... it's sick. anyways, just so fascinating to see how many different companies come together to provide the specified equipement required. what even blew me away was the fact that the drafting of the idea of such an aircraft started in 1990!! and we're in 2005!! so 15 years btw conceptualizing to the finished product. some ppl i know aren't even that old!
